The performance was. to exactly how we all intended it to go (this is during covid-19). I would I did not perform to the best of my ability as I didn’t have there equipment and the backing track that I needed. In terms of the online image I have created I am happy with what I have so far and im building it daily. I usually post my recording sessions and track my musical journey on via instagram https://www.instagram.com/simraanmusic/?hl=en . I have created a smart link in my bio which will lead my viewers to my music. This is a great opportunity for my music as my weekly hits on instagram are roughly around 21k. I believe that this is making me look professional as well as serious for my musical career.
In regards to my website, I am including a lot of image content of cover art from single releases and a brief coverage on introducing me and an artists with a little background information. Including all my social media outlets to which I am connected with. the front of the website (first page aka menu) shows a huge image of me . the side bar has options of a gallery so there will be a photoshoot within that. Then there will be a release dates of upcoming music that will published. I want come across expressive and unapologetic. I want to come across autistically as possible.
During our rehearsal routine we would begin by warming up. for me I would sing a few songs typically by Adele as her songs include a good range to where my voice can be excised. After me and the pianist would continue to perform a few more songs free styling melodies and lyrics.
We use a miic stand and an amplifier. along with an electrical keyboard. The pianists is placed beside me so we have good eye communication during the performance.
Things have changed during our last rehearsal due to my partner not being able to come into the uni and perform with me as he is not as student UEL. Therefore the whole dynamic of the performance has changed.
Going forward I will be performing on my own with a backing track from the original track. This does change the outcome and idea I had in my head by adapting is fine and im able to rehearse a lot more now as I don’t need a partner to rehearse with.
The arrangement has been created by 2 people a vocalists and a pianists. I will be singing my own composed song as well as being accompanied by a pianist . I will be singing all of the song. the bridge will be replaced by a improv melody and for it to be slowed down. where as the original track is allegro.
For the performance I will be performing one of my own compositions. The title being “badnaam”. Here is a link to the original version https://song.link/i/1486173647. I have chosen this song as its my latest write and I feel this would be a great opportunity to debut the single and to really create the type of performance I want for it. The genre for this song is RnB. although I have included another language Hindi in the song. you will find this in the bridge. I expect to perform this song as a balled. Meaning I will slow it down and use a piano to accompany me, if you play the original version which I have linked you will come to find the song is very fast and upbeat.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
